This toad juice was acquired in 1891 in Catemaco, Mexico. Long believed to be the center for witchcraft in Mexico, the town holds an International Congress of Witches on the first Friday of every March to this day.
In 1891 one such Congress became the epicenter for an epic battle between two members, who both thought themselves the most powerful witches of their age. The ensuing spell battle resulted in a massive toad swarm, and it took the town weeks to recover, as crops and livestock were decimated from the onslaught of this invasive species.
The townsfolk at large seized the opportunity to generate massive stores of freshly squeezed toad juice, which was immediately sealed away in an enormous underground pantry used by the local monastery. Recently discovered, this particular toad juice is believed to hold its own magical powers, and to be even more potent, now that it has aged underground over the past 125 years. Note: Test potency before using.
According to our sources, it has proven highly effective in reversing aging spells and love potions.
