This is Ekta.  He is lovingly handmade from naturally dyed wool and waiting to join your collection.  All MJ & Me hand-felted artwork and collectibles are exclusively available online at craftedbymjandme.com or through one of our select distributors.

Ekta is given the vital task of carrying or relaying messages, recipes, lists, and notes.  Like all gnomes, Ekta carries important items tucked into his coat or hidden underneath his long beard.

Gnomes have a very keen mind, which can store information much more efficiently than a human's. For this reason, gnomes learn languages within weeks, remember detailed facts about very mundane things for hundreds of years (a healthy gnome lives to be about 425 years old), and can relay multiple detailed messages and facts verbatim at any moment.

In addition to letters and messages, Ekta also carries morsels of nutritious food inside his coat and under his beard.  From time to time, he will encounter a gnome or animal that has gotten so busy with their work, that they have forgotten to eat. This is why he always carries extra acorn hearts and grass seed biscuits which are easy to pack and keep for long periods of time on the trail.

Ekta is 321 years old, considered middle-aged.  He wears a light grey colored coat and the traditional forest mushroom-colored (dark orange) cap.

All gnomes stand approximately 4.5 inches from the tip of their cap to the tips of their toes.  Each arrives with a bookmark telling their name and their unique story.
